IOE Nepal



The Institute of Engineering (IOE) is a constituent institution of Tribhuvan University (TU) located in Pulchowk, Lalitpur, Nepal. It is the oldest and largest engineering school in Nepal, established in 1930 with the aim of producing technically skilled manpower for the development of the country.

IOE offers undergraduate and graduate programs in various engineering disciplines such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Computer, and Geomatics Engineering. It also offers master's and PhD programs in Engineering, Science, and Technology.

The admission to IOE is highly competitive, and students need to appear for the IOE entrance examination conducted annually by the Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University. IOE has a strong emphasis on research and innovation and has been involved in various national and international research projects.
